For Alex Di Silvestro, the artwork does not end at the edge of the canvas. With decades of professional background in visual arts, including fashion and interiors, his approach extends beyond painting into the complete visual integration of the work within its final environment.
Framing is considered an essential continuation of the artwork itself, not simply a presentation element, but part of the overall visual language and emotional presence of the piece.
In some cases, the process develops in reverse, where a distinctive frame becomes the initial source of inspiration from which the artwork itself is conceived. Selected frames are individually painted and transformed into extensions of the composition, creating unique one-off collector’s works where art and frame become one.

For selected locations, Alex Di Silvestro can also provide artwork delivery & professional on-site installation, ensuring each piece is positioned with precision, balance and strong visual presence.
Guided by a strong background in visual arts including fashion, design and interiors, Alex Di Silvestro approaches each project individually, from artwork creation and bespoke framing to final spatial integration and placement. Once integrated into its environment, the wall itself becomes a new canvas, allowing the artwork to exist as part of a larger visual experience within the unique interiors.
